Well what if i was to write everyday

Would there be anything to say

From today. The frustration of the insistence on stories of weakness and "not there yet" and not ra-ra we're experts and doing it well boys club type presentations, meaning that women are put on the platform of conference to fail. I find it irritating because I feel trapped by this version of the sisterhood's approach into only saying how I've failed and my stories of non success rather than matching it with the boys.

And it would be easy to critique myself and say it's because I like men and that I've been seduced by the patriarchy - but i don't think that's all there is to it. There needs to be a balance in conference presentations but when it's always the women saying we haven't made it, we're not modelling for anyone rather we're reinforcing the bias.
