In search of a hobby

Unusally i find myself at a loss and have for over a week now

I have filled my non working time with things that seem to be ebbing away of late.

And while 'filling in' as team leader it's been overwhelmingly easy to simply 'fill up' of ones time on work - and yet this is not how i was created to be. I have a friend who has taken to making trek up country for a days fishing such is his pleasure and fascination. I'm amazed. In my present state there is nothing that I'd travel that far for.

So i'm searching for a hobby - I've pondered and discarded many - once you've lost touch how do you go about finding that which captivates you again?

So to fill the time - I'm reading, not leisurely and with ease rather i'm devouring the written word, thankful for both ill written books which one can graze over and for deeper yet well written tomes full of details - whcih can likewise be skipped over.

Maybe this can become the elusive hobby - the writing i mean not the reading which is proving mere distraction.
